This platform’s transformation into the Tifan Foundation in 2022   marked a significant step towards fostering agricultural advancement and community collaboration.

 Tifan Foundation resonates with the spirit of Sant Tukaram’s Abhanga, envisioning agricultural abundance as a collective treasure – “फोडिले भांडार धन्याचा हा माल । मी तंव हमाल भारवाही । ” The essence of Sant Ramdas teachings, urging us to share knowledge and be wise while avoiding the unwise, fuels our commitment to education and empowerment.

Tifan Foundation’s impact has rippled across Maharashtra, with agricultural extension workers from 20 districts uniting for the cause. This diverse team includes agricultural assistants, supervisors, officers, and experts. The foundation has served as a bridge connecting departments, officers, farmers, and enthusiasts, all working harmoniously towards a prosperous agricultural future.

The foundation’s journey is paved with innovation. A unique online seed processing competition, held during the Kharif seasons of 2021 and 2022, showcased the power of virtual collaboration. It united thousands of farmers, sellers, buyers, and traders from Maharashtra’s districts, offering a glimpse of the potential that technology holds for agricultural progress.

 Tifan Foundation is a hub of learning. It organizes training sessions using modern tools like Zoom, Google Meet, and MS Teams. Innovative graphics and digital media from posters to cartoon clips and jingles are harnessed to create public awareness. Farmers connect via social media, WhatsApp groups, and a dedicated YouTube channel (The Farmbook), Facebook page(Sahitya Krishi Adhikari) fostering a sense of community and knowledge sharing.
